Saturday Snapshot — April Showers Bring May Flowers

April showers bring May flowers….

The vibrant colors of spring show off God’s artistic touch in such beautiful ways.  All we have to do is look around…

This rose in front of the Training Center is one of the first to bloom this season.  Oh, how we wish you could smell it!

Do you remember the video devotion our gardener shared with us last year?  If not, or you’d like to watch again, click here.

Two of God’s beautiful creations!  He spoils us, doesn’t He?

Pink and purple azaleas delight those passing by in the Training Center parking lot.

The butterflies were all aflutter on the azaleas near Chatlos Memorial Chapel.  Can you hear the stream in the background.  Ahhh….

We’d love to hear what your weekend plans are.  Tell us in the comments below.

  1. We have worked pretty hard, here in Tennessee, this week, encouraging our Tennessee General Assembly to pass the Tennessee Infant Protection Act, and it has passed both our State House and Senate. Now, we are just hoping that our devoutly Christian governor will not veto our good work!

So we will take it easy this weekend, doing our chores and then, on Sunday, offering special prayers of thanksgiving that more and more people are coming to understand and to respect the sanctity of life and to work to protect the unborn.

    1. Sounds like a full weekend. Thank you for your work on behalf of the unborn. Blessings to you, Martie!

  2. Thank you for the beautiful video of the pruning of the rose bush. It touched my heart. Going through that time in my life. The garden is lovely. Thank you.
